New Extang RT Installed

I just received my new Extang RT Tonneau and it looks great. It is VERY low profile.

I've been debating for a couple of weeks on which tonneau to get. I checked out all the threads and even checked out each manufacturers website to get more info. After all said and done, Extang was my choice. They're all very similar.

Reason for purchase:

1. Very easy to install.
2. Very low profile. At the most 1/4" - 1/2" above bed rails.
3. I've had good luck with Extang in the past.
4. PRICE.

I purchased it from Truckxpressions. $295 delivered to the door. They are also very fast. Ordered on Tuesday and received it today.

I'll try posting some pics over the weekend.

$295 delivered to the door seems like a great price, good for you.
The roll ups are a very handy tonneau and look much better than the snap models IMO. Get yourself some 303 Protectant to treat it every few weeks and keep it looking new .

Welcome to the "club". I also have an R/T. Love it. Have noticed if I leave it rolled up, my gas mileage goes down almost 1 mpg.

Be careful when you roll it down. Don't slam it into the locking clip or you may bend the track and it will not lock shut. (found this out the hard way). If this happens, a pair of pliers will easily bend the track back and allow for normal operation.

I have a roll up tonneu and one of the plastic lips are missing. I was wondering if anyone would know where and how much I could just get a new cover. I have everything else, just need a new cover.

Thanks

The RT is very nice looking and functional. I did have a problem with water collecting in the bed compared to the snap on type I previously had installed on my F250.

I just purchased the Tuff-tonneu for my new F150 KR...should have got the RT
