Question Euro Lights and Factory ones

Has any one gotten these yet and put them in? Happened to take a closer look at my wifes 2000 Focus wagon tonight and the lights on hers look a lot like the Euro headlights. The fronts are clear lenses with no fluting or lines with a highly polished reflector in the back of the assembly with a slash pattern to them. The Focus also runs a single bulb like ours. A side to side comparison with lights on showed hers being much brighter with a wider pattern of light on them. Her high and low beams just over-powered the ones on my 150. If the new Euros for ours compare to the factory ones on hers it would be worth the 300+ to get them.
Anybody heard any reviews of the new lights yet good or bad? Too bad Ford didn`t give us headlights that illuminate like they gave the new Focus models.

Yeah. Those clean lens headlamps are cool. I asked the dealer why Ford didn't use the newer headlight designs. He said that the current ones are tougher. I think the dealer was full of it and didn't have a clue.

The 2001 or 2002 Ford Lightning is rumored to have either Euro or projector haedlights. May want to wait a little bit on this. Of course, I can't possibly imagine how much Ford would charge...holy shizit. Prolly cheaper to do a Nav front end conversion..haha. I have seen those new Crystal Eyes for $349.99 up to $429.99. Keep checking Ebay. The euro clear corner are on there for $33.00 already. It's just a matter of time. Trust me. I had my 99 Accord 2-dr for 1 1/2 years and as soon as I sold it, they came out with clear and Altezza tails for it. Figures. I know that Altezzas are coming out for the Ford 150 flareside in Jan or Feb 2001. If anyone has any more info on this, please let me know. E-mail me from my sig. below. Thanks.

Talking

I just realized, nearly every Ford has clear
headlights,except the trucks
I think we were the last thing to roll of the
drawing board before they started the new "edgy designs" and clear headlights.
Eventually we'll get some factory ones, but I think the aftermarket will always be cheaper for us. All these aftermarket lights have me wondering who makes the originals. Could they be the same manufacturers?Hmmmm,,,,,,98
