Lund vs. Access Roll up tonneau

OK, I've searched around but could not find a head to head comparison on these two tonneau roll up covers. I've narrowed my roll up tonneau tops down to -

Lund Genesis Roll Up Soft Tonneau
and
Access Roll Up

Anybody know if one is better then the other and why? I've seen the two side by side, the latch system of the Lund I like since you pull it toward the center of the truck. I've heard a few good things about Access. Any difference in strength, durability, or weatherproof-ness of either. Any differences you can point out would be very helpful as I need to buy very soon.

TIA.

They are probably both very close to quality with each other. It's all going to come down to which one do you like better. The only real difference between the two is going to be how the cover is unlatched. Can't go wrong with either one .

I love my access roll up. I got the limited cover so it has a single twist handle in the middle that releases both sides at once. It also has black side rails and bows so it looks better when it's rolled up. I've had mine for over a year without a single problem. I've seen the Lund and it looks a lot like the access. The only thing that I would consider is the fact that Access has been making these for a long time, and Lund is fairly new in the roll up market.

Good point about how long they have been making them. I peep'd both at a local retailer. I believe the Lund does not have a release mechanism from the outside, plus the Lund you pull the release on the inside toward the center(Access - non-limited) you pull straight down. I would have to go limited edition though for the same reasons. The Lund is all black also, do you mind if I ask how much you paid?

Jhogan, thanks for the input, I've been teatering for a week. Probably come down to price, Lund is $150 less locally. :o/

I gave $450 for my access from Tonnocover.com with free shipping. I checked and the price is still the same.

I just posted almost the same thing in 04'-05' F150.

The best prices I found so far were at 4wheelonline.com

My dad just bought a Truxedo. Seems like a great cover, I really like it.

I push the Genesis when possible. One of my techs has one on his 2004 Ram and really likes it. Plus it's cheaper depending on who you can get it from.
