I would like to know how much everyone is paying for the clear corner lenses. I know, I know they have them in the Online store, but, I have heard of people getting them off of ebay for $35.00. If this is true let me know how. If not tell me how much you paid for yours. Thanks.

I had to replace the corner lens on mine not too long after I first got it. A tractor trailer threw a rok and broke mine. Install was a snap. Took all of 5 min. Thanks guys.

 

This might seem like a dumb question, but they come with colored bulbs to make up for the clear lenses, right? What happens when they burn out? I know I can find amber bulbs, but what about the red ones for the taillights and brake lights?

OLE BLUE: I got mine from the online store. They were a little high. But, I got some from Autodynamic first for $35. But, they did not fit. There are two diffrent corners for 97. Lucky for me I sold the lights to my stepdad. Then I tried to find a set thatwould fit my truck. I had a hard time finding someone to answer my question "Can I get clear corners for my truck?" But, one person did. Roger Lemere here on F150 Online. So, be warned before you buy! You might get them for cheap. But, if there is a problem the cheaper places might not help.

THey did not come with replacement lamps. there are already yellow lamps in the stock corners. the build quality looks and feels the same as the stock ones and i havent had any trouble with them. On the clear tails i havent really looked for them. they are very illegal so i havent bothered. i did find a pair of all clear exept for where the 97-99 reverse lamp is. that part is red. email me and ill point to where you can get these. or take a look at them.

Why exactly are the rear clears illegal? If they illuminate red like they are supposed to.... Wouldn't that be legal? I asked my buddy who's a cop in Grosse Ile, MI, and he told me that there isn't any reason he can think of that they would be illegal on the fronts or on the rears, so long as they illuminate the proper colors. He said that he can't recall learning anything in the MI vehicle code that specifies what color they have to be when they're off, only what color they need to be when they're on. I'm gonna make some more calls first, though.

not sure up there but down here in Texas we have to have a red reflector on the back tail lights. ive discussed it with over 20 cops just to make sure . it was a consensus its illegal down here.

Did they come with bulbs or did you need to buy them separately? What about the build quality... is it good? Also, have you found a source for rear clears for a flare-side? I've gound them, but they're not cheap....
