Ok, so I noticed on my grille guard the black powder finish is not as strong as I thought. There are several places from rocks that are taking off the finish. So, my answer to this is Line-x the sucker, but I have questions.

1. Do I remove the powder finish before having line-x sprayed on?

2. Has anyone else ever done this or seen this done, and how did it turn out?
