There's a step-by-step in this months Truckin' magazine, if I'm not mistaken.

SVTAUDIO,

I have the diagram that my parts counter guy gave me. No scanner at home but I can take it to work Monday if you still need it. Diagram is a little misleading I test fitted all of my brackets on the ground and it goes on pretty easy. Have you bought all of the brackets? I can send you the parts list if you need it.

Good Luck,

The "Lightning" kit is made by Wings West(www.wingswest.com. The complete step-by-step starts on page 220. The front bumper is identical to ours...
I may be less pricy than actual Ford replacement parts. Just a thought..

Sorry TampaBay, I didnt mean to seem like an A$$, but I don't want everyone that buys aftermarket stuff to get ripped on it, I am pretty close with a parts dealer (aftermarket) in town and he can get it a little cheaper than that but not much, I just want to save people money, beleive it or not, but I try to pinch every corner that I can, and I've saved alot on my truck, if you can just haggle with these guys the will come down on the prices. Sorry if I seemed pushy .................LOWEREDFORD

I feel your pain... Been there, done that.
It will certainly be worth it once it's all installed.
Be sure to let us all see when you're done.

Good Luck!

i ll have before and after pictures put up the day the last bolt is put in.

one question though for anyone to answer.

what is part # 9. XL3Z-8327-AB DEF AY-RAD

it is pictured just under the grill insert.
it appears to be the same length as the grill insert for the bumper.

what is this called and what does it do?
