Question Where to mount Driving Lights?

I need to brighten things up a bit and here are my options:
1: Mount on top of bumper (requires drilling and I question how it will look)
2: Mount in air dam below bumper (requires cutting)
3: Mount on a push bar or brush gaurd (expensive)
4: Buy the Ford 4x4 airdam kit (expensive)
5: Buy some high output headlight bulbs (do these really work?)
6: Mounting in/behing grill
7: Other options I havent thought of.

What year is your truck? on my 99 i intalled fog lights on each side of my front plate. I used angle iron and made an "L" bracket that bolts to an existing hole in the frame. The lights fill the holes in the airdam but still have room for ventalation. Unless you are a ways away on low to the ground you cant see the lights they blend in good. if you want i could send you a picture of how it looks. just email me about it.

those brackets are plenty strong. I think you could tow the truck with them. The are bolted to the frame of the the truck.

I installed my new NFA 1400 Series 55W=>85W Halogen Compact Road/Fog Lamps on my lower air dam below the bumper. These babies put out better than the regular headlamps. I could easly drive with my road/fog lamps only. If you want to see how they look on my truck click on the link in my signature. It's the last pic.

Cooltruck thats a cool set up on the lights you have there I've been thinking of putting some on my truck but ? the drilling into the plastic part of the bumper or using the 3m tape that some of these fog light kits have on how well that would hold up so where are the holes in the frame I hope they are in a 2000 just like the 99 so I don't have to drill.
