Post any reccomendations

Eventhough im not the biggest fan of Nerf Bars i think im gonna have to get some because people in my apartment complex find it fun to open their doors and hit me. Before i moved in my truck was spotless and now it has scratches and dings all over it. What im looking for is bars that hug the body of the truck and don't have a huge gap between the body and the step. Any recommendations?

Hey brew,
I noticed you have the stepside bed, same thing as flareside right? Anyway, I went with the factory tube steps, mainly so my wife can get in the truck, but also I liked the flat look they have. May be too much of a gap for your taste though. Seems that when you get a flareside, that deletes the bodyside moldings. I plan to put those on. I checked at the parts counter. They are about $45 for the main door and $12 for the small supercab door. 4 pieces for $120. not cheap but may solve your problem if you don't like nerfs.

Thumbs up

The westin nerf bars will do the job. They look good and when installed properly the only stick out a few inches from the truck body.

Thanks for the responses everyone. Life would be so much easier if people would just open their doors carefully. Ill look into the Westin bars though.
