I was wondering if you can order the hood allready painted . How much did the hood cost . I've seen it in magzazines for $439. how much does it cost to have it painted.

 

You're correct on the price, $439. They only come unfinished. How much it costs to paint depends on the body shop. Expect anywhere from 3 to 6 hours. Around here (Seattle) typical hourly rates are $40-45. I had a bunch of other things done all together at the same time so I don't know what installing/finishing/painting the hood alone would have cost.
Shipping is another factor, from New Jersey to here was $112.
