Question Front Bumper

I'm planning on buying the Lightning front facsia through my local ford dealer, but i have two questions about it. I've heard that there is a needed bracket from ford to install the bumper, does anyone know the name or part number? Also, do the bumpers come pre-painted, or do i have to have it painted? Thanks!

If you have a '97 or '98, The frame mounting points are the same. The '99 and up bumper requires different mounting brackets.

I am not sure whether the Lightning has the stock bumper underneath, but it probably does. I will try to find out.

The bumper itself comes primed black. It runs around $300 to $350. This does not include a fascia, but you may not need it if you want the Lightning cover. The brackets to adapt to the new bumper are around $15 each.

Cool

Also if it is a 97 or 98, you have to replace the grill assembly as well because they are different. The 99+ and Lightning grills dip down in the center.
