I need some advice regarding the removal of the stock Expedition Eddie Bauer fender well trim. I would like to remove it and have it painted to match the rest of the truck. I tried by removing the screws securing the trim to the underside of the fender. However, the trim is also glued (I think) to the fender. Has anyone done this modification? If so, did you take the trim off or paint it while still on the truck?

I was recently at the dealer's body shop and had a fender trim off of an Eddie and from the looks of it, the trim is held in by both screws and clips. I noticed holes on the exterior of the feder well. Hope this helps.
