running boards

Question running boards

hey all---i am looking to put running boards (tubes) on my truck but i would like to hear good and bad about the different types, prices, etc.
i think i want to get black powder coated tube like ones.

I have a reg cab flareside with running boards that run from the from wheel well to the rear wheel well. Teh outside tube is stainless and the part you step on is stainless with black rubber inserts. I think it looks good. Cost was $395.89 installed with frame mounts.
