Question LUND SOLAR VISOR

Out of the 5245 registered members, does anyone have on their truck a Lund Solar or Lighted Visor. And how do you like it? Trying to get your opinion if, it is worth the money also, how many inches does it come out from the windshield. Thinking of getting this as my next upgrade.

Wink

I have the Lund Moor Visor and it looks pretty cool it is strong *** hell. I go through car washes sometimes and there is no problem. The thing never moves even at 100 mph. Hope that helps.

Steveo,

Thanks for the info, but, isnt the Moon Visor the one you have to drill holes for? The New Solar Visor which I was mentioning, requires no drilling into your roof panel and I was wondering does this one hold up as well as the Moon. The Solar Visor requires only drilling into your door rails, not your roof. I hate the thought of drilling holes all over a new truck.

I95 - I want to know the same thing to, I like the look of the solar visor better then the moon visor. One guy at a truck store I went to said that people claimed that the solar visor was noisey at speeds over 40mph, and that the moon visor wasn't. I've found 2 trucks by me that have the solar visor, but I don't know who drives them, one day I will catch them in the parking lot and find out (a perk of a retail job by the DMV, I can find just about anything on a car and find the person)

soon: fipk, chip, rims (the ones I want are $2k with tires, I need more money)

Cool

The one that I have you have to drill holes in the roof. We have that other one at my fire dept. The thing that I noticed with the solar visor is that when you are driving at about 45 or higher the thing shakes alot and it lookes as if it is going to fly off. So far it has not done so ahahahahah. Hope that helps.

I thought the Solar Visor might move around a bit and rub the paint right off. I guess you put double sided tape on the middle of the roof to attach it. I will wait to see what others think before I go ahead and buy it.
