Cool Mudder.............Help

Now that I got your attention. Where are you putting all the switches for your lights, under the dash or in a custom built console. What about the power do they go right to the battery or did you get some type of power from inside the truck. I was thinking of setting up a power block to have most of my lighting things to goto but still have them shut off with the truck. Thanks and that little escort had some nice lightage.................ahahaha

Hey Mudder, I was also wondering about that (thanks steveo). I thought I'd takle it on my own and ended up with this:

I put my relay where your switches are but behind that plastic cover under the hood is a good place! I put my switch on the dash like that because I wanted to give a OEM look. I wired my relay (not main power) to a circuit that ends when the key is out of the ignition. That way my stupid self won't forget the lights on.

Anyway, Great job Mudder!

Cool

steveo,

I've got two switches mounted under the dash, I will include a pic at the bottom for you to see. One switch controls the front, and one switch controls the top. That way I can run the top and bottoms anytime I want, like when I need to blind somebody right in front of me I have them goin straight to the battery, some people say that this is bad cause you might leave them on and run down the battery. But if you dont realize they are on you have a problem.
Both switches light up, so that is a good thing.

Here's where all the wires are at, and the relays.
