Question Running lights/Power rear window

I've always been kinda partial to a nicely lit up truck. Not to the extent of an 18-wheeler, mind you, but nice running lights, etc. Has anyone ever seen, or have installed the roof mounted lights that you can get on the F-250's on an F-150? Cost? Difficulty?

Also, has anyone ever installed a power back window? I have seen a "PowerSlide" model for around $500, but I know there is also one where the entire window drops down vertically as opposed to a center section of the window opening laterally like the PowerSlide. Anyone?

Thanks!

The worst thing about the power slider is that they require alot of maintnance. They need to be cleaned and the cables have to be lubed often or they will jam.

The roll down type are real bad. I would definately not recomend them to anyone. They take up alot of room and dont work vey well. They are also hard to get parts if you need them.

Stick to the power slider and just take care of it. I work on them all the time when people just let them go and they are all messed up. The cables are usually stuck and they keep trying to run them and end up messing up alot of stuff. Even the motors.

As far as the power rear slider goes, Ford also makes a power rear slider kit. In fact, that is even an option on 2000 Lariats. It is part of option 63L (Lariat Upgrade Accessories Pkg), cost $995.
