Question front bumper changeout

Has anyone taken a 4x4 bumper (with the factory foglight holes) and put it on a 4x2? If so, was it easy? time consuming? Any extra parts needed? Any help is appreciated? Thanks

Yep, I had it done when my pickup was being rebuilt from a wreck. Ford body shop did it so I couldn't tell you how hard it was. It looks good though. I have a 98 and they put on a 99 bumper w/fogs so they also had to replace the grill to make it look right.

Joseph_73,

This is a very simple change. Just 8 bolts hold it on. You probably need someone to help you,(I did). Putting it on you need to get it positioned up and down correctly.
Biggest problem for me was finding one used. Of course that was 2.5 years ago.
BTW, the light kit new costs around 200$.
Good Luck!
