Question Just the push bar

I am looking for a push bar preferrably in stainless steel for my '99. I want the part that goes just in front of the grill. I don't like the pieces that go in front of the lights. Any recommendations and pictures would be appreciated. Thanks!

Look into the Grizzly brand, I had one on my last truck, and it was pretty tough.

I have the same setup you want. I got the Rhino grill guard, center section only. I got the chrome version but it comes in black. This bolts to the frame on the tow hook spot with tow hooks on side and rotated 90 degrees from stock (IE: vertical). It also has braces over the bumper between the grill. These have a rubber strip on the vertical bars about 1" wide. I'll try to photo this weekend.

Thanks Mudder, So far I love them. They are a great tire. Ride nice and straight and balance out pretty good.
I still feel a little inadequate in the light dept. compared to you though.

Wink

Heck Squanto, get you a roll bar, that would be pretty sweet. You could mount you 4 or 5 lights on that. Ever considered a roll bar?

Hay Dewayne,

I wouldn't mind seeing pics of your Rhino grill guard. This is what I've been considering!

Thanks!

I am also looking for just a push bar. I am looking for one just for looks though. I want something like the small ones that they sell for the small SUV's. It is usually color matched and sometimes it is fiberglass not even metal. They are small and dont come much higher then the bumber it is mainly a look. Some of them you can mount 2 light in. I can not find them for any full size truck or SUV only the small ones. If anyone know where I can find these please let me know.

kmmon1,

I saw in my 4X4 Power mag that Smittybuilt makes what they call an Outland Sport. This comes up to the top of the bumper and two lights can be mounted on it. It comes in stainless, black powdercoat, and textured black powdercoat. I thought about getting one till I found out the price was $230.00! For something that small, I can't see paying that, but it sounds like what you're looking for!
