Question Lightning Bumper

Does any1 know if i can put a lightning bumper on a 2k XLT f150? Also how much does this part cost?

Is there any other good looking bumper kits out there for this truck? Something maybe a little less conservative then the lightning one? My truck is almost complete, this spring break i plan to do body work so i would like to do a front bumper as well. Hope to post pictures soon..

Thanks ahead

How about replacing the lower part of the bumper, with the lower part of a bumper from the new Harley Davidson F150.
It would be a lot easier than replacing the whole bumper, plus someone looked into it a while back. Not only would you have to but the bumper, but also all the brackets that go with it, which will add to the cost.

If i am to this mod, what parts exactly do i need? and what is the estimated cost for everything? I dont want the lightning grill or anything, just to make the bumper the same. Also how much more does the lightning bumper hang down from the stock?

Thanks

Don C, do you know where I can find the lower bumper like on the F150 Harley D? And the price? I just saw it at the Chicago Auto show last weekend. Looks very nice!!

Question

Any development on if a Lightning Bumper Cover will "bolt on" to a 1999+ F150?

No, the Lightning bumper will not fit as a direct replacement for the stock F-150 bumper... I know from personal experience tried it myself... The parts in correction of figures noted above are Bumper cover: $625.00 lights: $150.00 not to mention the 4 new brackets that you need, and the new rear brace: about $150.00... So far after paint you are looking at about: $1050.00 need I even get into labor... It is an extensive job, but looks great when done... I myself went with the lower airdam from the Roush Racing company Total costs: $750.00 w/lights
Later, Good luck...
