Question Wheel spacers?...

Does anyone have any knowledge or experience with wheel spacers? I would like it if my wheels stuck out just a small bit. I don't know who would make them or if they would even be safe on a truck.
Your input is greatly appreciated.

97customxlt- I too thought about wheel spacers. Performance Plus has them. There made by a german company and Quality looks good . Only problem is cost 189.95 a pair. I was unable to find any other brand..So I'll hold out for New rims and tires...Good luck!....Capt.

Gentlemen,

Wheel spacers will change your front end geometry in the following manner.

1. Puts more stress on the lugs and ball joints due to the "leverage" effect.

2. Increases the "scrub radius" i.e., the distance between the contact point of the tire on the ground and the turning axis of the wheel (kingpin axis inclination).

The effects, harder to turn the wheel (not a problem with power steering); more wear on ball joints, more stress on lugs.
