I recently e-mailed Cervini's about their ram air hood that I saw in February's Muscle Mustang and Fast Ford's. They had a 99 lightning with a ram air hood and it was funtional. The next day a representative from cervini's called me and told me they had the hood, and it was like $439 dollars, but the ram air feature isnt out yet and is also only compatible to the lightning! So if you have a lightning expect it to be out in like 6 months.

Question

Hey ad4x4ofrd,

Who told you it was only for the lightning? The hoods are the same for the lightning and a 99 150 4x4, there is no difference. Besides if I am correct the hood hasn't changed from 97-00.

Ford Motorsport is supposed to have a cowl induction hood available, I haven't seen it yet, but it sounds pretty nice.
