I like the paint job. Looks good except that ugly Florida license plate.

All things not created equal? On my 98 stepside there was plenty of roomn for the reflector install.... Tail gate just as functional as before..However some f150's may have a closer tolerance than mine... So far 2 f150's tried and 2 HAPPY TRUCKERS. The second truck was a 99 and the gate was a little closer but it worked... Capt.

Update on reflector mod. Apparently Auto zone carries 2 types of the blazer reflector strips. Both are made of hard plastic 1" x 12" with 3m type tape on the rear. The only difference between them is one set has 2 round holes in each reflector to mount with screw's. The set I used did not have the holes.. It looks better. You will need 2 packs to cover the entire rear. Four full strips and one cut down to fit. This will leave you with 3 and a piece left over...Find a friend and share That's what I did. Capt.

Cool

CAPT. AMERICA,
I need your help! I have personally been in every Auto Zone store in my local area and they do not carry the "conspicuity reflectors" that you have on your F-150. I wanted to ask you if I sent you the money (money order) would you mail me 2 sets of these reflectors? Please let me know. Thanks,

Looks great CAPT. AMERICA, any comments from people behind you at night? I'm curious as to what this looks like at night with headlights hitting it.

CAPT America-

How do you crank your rear tire down? Seems that the reflector assembly that you installed blocks the access hole where you'd insert the spare tire crank.

Cool

wjt,
the location of CM reflectors is no where near the spare tire access whole(?). His reflectors are between the bottom of the tailgate and the top of the rear bumper, the area behind the tailgate. There is a small space between the two areas. Some F-150's don't have a very big gap there, others do. If your still confused, place a ruler or flat object on top of the rear bumper and slide it forward until to stops, it should stop behind the tailgate. This is where the reflectors are located.
