Post Smittybilt bars?

Help! Looking for black texture Smittybilt SureSteps for a 2000 Supercab 4x4, but nobody seems to have them in-stock! Are they really that popular? The best ship date I could find is 4 weeks from now?!?

Any suggestions?

FL,

I put the smooth powder coated black ones from Smittybilt on mine. I wish I had waited on the textured ones as these smooth ones show scratches if you miss step on the bar and not the foot pad. This happens when you park in a tight spot and have to exit out a very tight door opening and you end up stepping just behind the foot pad on the drivers side. The grit in your shoes makes tiny surface scratches in the coating. I have to keep rubbing them out. Great bars though! My advice: Wait on the textured ones. I will someday have my Paw in Law repaint these to the texture but in the mean time I occasionally rub the m out with light rubbing ccompound.

Thumbs up

It only took a few days to get mine, but I would have waited 4 weeks if I had to. I like the textured bars.

What is the average price you guys are paying for the textured powder coated bars for a three door. Is there a shop online that carries them at a good price.

RoadRunner, do you have anything lifting the suspension in the front? If so, I would love to see your truck, I am just down the road from you (east side of cleveland)...

You could get the blk painted ones and put hurculiner on it i tried it in a blazer that has no top and the stuff in really tough ,we used it in place of carpet.there would be enough to do the box of your truck and the nerf bars or they seel it in qt's also just and idea maybe it would save you money

I paid $179 for my black powder coated ones. I don't believe the texture was any more just not in stock when I bought.
