Question Cleaning soft toneau cover

How do you clean your soft toneau cover? I started off just rinsing it under high pressure, but after a couple of months that no longer does the job.

Do you use a towel and regular car wash? Or are there special products?

Thanks,

I've had mine for a year and a half and I wash it using regular car wash soap and I scrub with a long handle car wash brush and rinse w/ garden hose. Then I protect it with Son of a Gun. I do that because the sun would fade it out in a heartbeat down here.

Those tonneaus get filthy don't they?

I do not put any kind of protectant on mine because when it rains the stuff streaks down my paint. I live in Florida also so I was wondering what to use.

Mine gets very dirty but I just use a plastic brush to scrub it out with.
