Post Survey - Bed Cap yes/no

I wanted have some fun and take a survey to see what the people think about cab high fiberglass bed caps on the F150.

My .02. As you can see mine is for sale. To me it looks too much like a SUV. I am going back to the truck look with a soft tonnough cover. Don't get me wrong. It is sharp, but it's just not me.

Let's vote.

Me too. I agree. I think a color matched hard shell tonnough really finishes off the truck however.

I agree. I have a ******* cover but if I had it to do over again I would go for the roll up cover so I could haul the tall stuff without reoving the cover.

Well, I'm the one who disagrees. I think the Cab High Bed Cap is the way to go. Not only can I store very tall items, I also can bring along my two large dogs and know
they, as well as my stuff are protected from weather conditions. Try that in an SUV.

I wouldn't mind having one to use myself, its the only way to go when hunting or traveling back/and forth to school

Cool

My Opinion, I would go either soft tonneau (which I have) or cap (which I want). Soft tonneau cover is much easier, if you happen to be an impulse buyer (like me), if you find something big, you have to bring your cover home, then go back to pick up what you want. But I love the look of the cab high cap.

Thumbs up

I just got a 2000 XLT and added a SnugTop Cab-Hi XV to it (and a bed liner carpet kit). Granted, it makes the truck look more like a SUV, but my primary cargo is a couple of dogs. One more "good thing" (tm) is that it keeps people from asking to borrow your truck when they move. :-)

Thumbs up

I put a Jeraco Deluxe High-rise cap on my bed,
http://www.jeraco.com/pg2.html like the 3rd
picture down, I also put a roof rack on it,
2nd pic from bot. Hope to have pictures up of it soon. I think this look keeps it from
looking like a SUV.
Plus, people don't have to strain to see my
www.F150online.com sticker at 6 1/2 feet closer!

By the way while we are talking about caps, does anyone have a good idea how to clean the windows between the cab and the cap? Does any one have any sugguestions what they use to clean their windows between the cap and cab.
