Which bug sheild do you own and which seem to look the best and or work the best?

I personally love the Ford wrap-around bug shield. It looks great, perfectly molded. As far as functionality, I don't know how it compares to others since I've only owned this one. But I have noticed I get fewer big bug splats on my window vs. without a bug shield.

I really wanted a clear one so I ended up with the Bugflector II. It was the only wrap around good fitted one in clear I could find. Had to order it. It looks nice and catches a bug or two as well as keeps rocks of the leading edge of the hood.

I have a Lund Interceptor (was clear, now back-painted Toreador red). looks great, I modified it a little to mount closer to the hood. The default was atleast an inch off the hood. The lund Front-runner look really cool too.

Did you have to drill the hood for the non-Ford ones?

 

On the Bugflector II. Yes. Well...Didn't really have too. Could have trusted the 3M tape. But I did it anyway. 5 of em, very small.

I like my beast to be very low profile, added the LUND Frontrunner. I'd say it's radically different from most other bug shields because it is "on" the hood. Installs with 3M tape only!! Because my truck is a flareside and I've got all that black (under front bumper, top of rear bumper and side steps) I left the Frontrunner black. Looks sharp.
