Try a quick search in the 04/05 forum. It's been discussed to death but, unfortunately, I don't think that there are any 'performance' options available for us...

It's really a bummer...

9007 halogens have one of the worst output lumen ratings. Whatyou have stock is as good as it gets for now unless you retrofit something else in there. Im working on a Q45 HID projector retrofit which should be complete in a few weeks.

Simply replacing a particular bulb with another one because "it fits in the hole" is not a wise move. The position and orientation (horizontal vs. vertical) of the filament is a rather critical design element of your lighting system. Ever see a Ford truck with a headlight that just plain looked weird? It's usually caused by some idiot slapping in a 9004 bulb instead of a 9007. Not only does it look weird, it doesn't work for snot. (That's a technical term.) The main difference in those two bulbs is filament orientation.

I too would like some more light out of my stock headlights, but have had to settle for swapping in a set of 9005 Silverstars into my fog lights. As soon as the snow melts (maybe July), I'm adding a set of Hella 550 driving lights behind the grill. These will be wired into the high beam circuit. As for the low beams, we'll just have to wait.
