Post grille insert

I just read about a grille insert from Classic in NJ.The insert is installed over the stock grille. Now, for anyone, is there going to be any airflow reduction? Has anyone installed one and how do you like it? I saw it in the latest sport truck magazine, Jan 2000. Any help will be appreciated.

Thumbs down

I had the Lund screen fronts in my old truck(90 F-150) they worked great in the summer time it didn't run hot any but the winter sucked one time. I was driving to my girlfreinds house and started smelling antifreeze. Then I looked up to rearview mirror and noticed steam coming out behind me. I pulled off the road and found that the inserts had iced over and all my water was boiled out and my radiator hoses and heater hoses were sucked together. (I pulled off at our local Dodge dealer) being to proud of a Ford owner I refused to go and ask them for some water to get me the rest of the way and I only had about 2 miles to go I just removed the inserts and fired that baby back up and took off. Made it there and let it set for awhile then had my girlfreind take me to get some antifreeze and never put them back in after that. I guess it was my fault and not the inserts but I still wouldn't buy any for my new truck.

Cool

I instaled the one made by Lund with no noticable restricion in airflow and I live in So.FL.
