Post Help with Westin Nerf Bars

Today I got a pair of Westin Nerf Bars(chrome, model 25-1100 for regular cab) installed. They really look great. But there's one problem. Do any of Westin Nerf Bar owners think that their Nerf Bars are kind of square, not really horizontally? Has anyone seen this? They kind of slope down, like they are too heavy and they want to fall. Or maybe it's just the way they were installed(have to call the shop then) or supposed to be or maybe it's just my eyes that are kind of square....

I have the black Westin Nerf bars.
They look typical to me. The nerf bars extend slightly from under the body but they are level with the ground and follow the body contour. I don't see my Nerf bars tilting or looking like they are too heavy.
Hope this helps.
( self installed nerfs )

I also have the chrome Westin bars. Installed them myself and they look just right. They do not look like the slope down at all. Were the supports put on? That could possible keep them from being straight.

Mine seem to be fine, well with the exception of the passenger side, it's just a little bent from off-roading.

Thanks for all your feedback.
I think I'm going to take a look at it again and bring it back to the shop and have them correct it. I don't know how they are installed but I think it lookes like there was something going into or onto the underside of the lower body panels. It also looks like the lower body panels have been loosened some what. Is that supposed to be like that??? I hope they didn't mess with my car.

When the attachment brackets are installed on the backside of the rocker panels, there is are rubber plugs that are first removed. When attaching the brackets there is some "slop" (adjustment). If they were not careful about adjusting the brackets to the same height, you could end up with uneven bars

Thanks rmarietta, I brought my truck today and they adjusted it.... but only the passenger side. The passenger side is also not completely horizontal, but it is better than before the adjustment was made. So I'll have to bring my truck back again some other day to adjust the driver's side.

I had a problem with a nerf bar. I solved It by getting their Liquor license Suspended. However those little nerfs were pissed !!!

By "square" do you mean too conservative? Yes...I see how that could be a problem.
