scratches on chrome step bars

While I was drying my truck my off this morning, I noticed a bunch of fine line scratches on the drivers side step bar. I don't know how they got there. I was wondering if anybody knows of a product that I can buy to polish them out?

NOLES,

You may want to try a chrome polish called "blue magic", i've been using this product for years and it works wonders on removing everything from heavy oxidation & minor surface scratches, if the scratches are too deep it will not remove it. Your only option then is to get it re-chromed if its really an eyesore. You can purchase it at just about any reputable parts store or autozone, pep boys.... Hope this helps you out!!
