brush guard
Im not sure if i understand your question correctly but if you are looking for a cheap brush guards look on ebay. They are not name brands like weston but they still look great.
Mine is stainless and i got it for over 50% less than at other places, like in truck mags.

Ive never seen a warn looking chrome one. But just to let you know i got my stainless brush guard for about 200 dollars! The only drawback is the shipping and handling of like 80 bucks. But it still beats a grand for one!
Well it depends on whether you want one that can carry a winch, like the Trans4mer can. If you do, then you're pretty limited on choices. Otherwise, you can shop around a bit.
One question you ought to ask is how rugged you want it to be. Many guards install to the frame, such as the Warn. This is much more functional. Others only install to the bumper -- cosmetic only.
There's an inexpensive brand called Wildcat Flash, that makes chrome accessories. They're pretty good. They make a grille guard that you may be interested in. I have one on my Ranger, but the guards look the same for all models. You can link to my homepage below for some pics.
As an idea for quality: I bought more expensive Smittbilt SureStep nerf bars for my Ranger. About 2 years prior, my friend had put the cheaper Wildcat Flash on his Dodge Ram. We live in the same town. He goes offroad for hunting much more than I do. 3.5 years after my install, my Smittybilt bars are rusting apart. His bars look brand new.
Here's a site that sells them.
XCellerated Performance
I have no experience with these guys, though.
Good Luck.
