new aftermarket headlight question

I just recently purchased a 65/55W pair of new KYO headlights for my 02 f150. What i was going for was a BMW style bright lights with that cool tint of blue. I got my headlights the other day via mail and i screwed them in and i hate them. Its more of a blue light then that tint of blue in the white headlight and the visiblilty isnt near as good as the stock yellow lights. I am debating on buying a higher wattage bulb. Perhaps the 100/85 but am not sure if the truck can handle the wattage. What should I do? Should i buy the higher wattage headlights in the same brand? or should i try switching brands and keep the same wattage in hoping for a brighter bulb?....I heard from another thread that someone tried using higer wattage bulbs and they werent as bright as the lower wattage because there truck couldnt power the high wattage.

If you go to the higher wattage, I would get a new harness that will take the current load. Summit Racing has them in their new catalog. Pretty much just a plug in harness with a few relays. Cost is 35 or 40 bucks. You could make one but finding the female plug end for the headlight socket may be difficult.
