Need to plug a hole........................

Anyone know what can be used/whatever to plug /insert into the hole in the front bumper?
Granted, my truck's a 2wd, and it's got a 4x4 front bumper, but still. (wanted the factory fog lights).

I'm looking for something to install that kinda matches the upper grille.

I see lots of 'billet' stuff, but no 'egg crate/factory looking stuff.

Ideas/thoughts much needed.

thanks.

I say just go with an aftermarket bumper. Anything in that space, other than a fog lamp, will look silly...IMO.

Your thread title suckered me in too!

I dont know about that ............ an intercooler would look pretty slick in that space.

Yeah, but wouldn't you want to install a turbo too, besides just an intercooler to fill the void?.......................

That's just what I was implying, turbo, centrifigal, rootes, it dont matter so long as you fill the space with a functional intercooler. LOL, that would be an expensive way to just plug a hole.

Good luck.

I looked at getting a billet grill, but really didn't find anything I liked enough to spend $200+

Then I thought about making one like Asinatra did.

Finally just ordered the G.A.P. accent piece on ebay. Let y'all know about installation and looks

The G.A.P accent piece arrived and I installed this weekend. Took about 10 minutes, and that included the time to get another beer. It looks pretty darn good, like it should have looked when I purchased. It is just a piece of plastic about a 1/4 inch thick but I must say it certainly looks OEM. In fact, it had a FORD part number on the box. Installs with some supplied clips. The hardest part was getting my fat hands in between the bumper and the transmission cooler for one of the clips. I'll try to get some pics soon.
