Lariat badging

I have a 00 Lariat 4x4 Scab, it has the striping on the side and the LARIAT on the leather seats, but no LARIAT exterior badging. I saw the same truck as mine on the road with a LARIAT decal on the side of the back doors. It looked factory. I did a quick websearch but was unable to find anything. Can Anyone help?

My truck has the lariat decal on the bed, behind the rear doors. This was factory. I think that is what your asking? Try looking at the user galleries and compare the vehicles

I just bought a used 2001 SCrew 4x4 Lariat and it was missing one of these decals. My dealer ordered me a new one, so I have no idea what the cost was for it. Maybe you could try your local dealer. Just make sure the color combination is correct because my first order got messed up.

Thumbs up

You could do it here, if the dealer turns out to be overly expensive? Back when I worked in a dealer bodyshop, we always had to order the entire kit to get one part, and the prices were ridiculous. I remember a Ranger Splash stripe kit being unbelievably high, and it's similar to the Lariat kit.,,,,98

Well I went to Galpin Ford and they wanted to sell me the whole stripe kit... $78 per side. It looks as though I will have to do without the LARIAT decal. Thanks to all

You might want to check with some sign painters or pinstripers.

Go to e-Bay and get them for about $5. There are 4 auctions for them right now for different colors. I don't know the color of your truck, so I just picked one.

You can also do a search in this section, "eBay Motors > Parts & Accessories > Car & Truck Parts > Decals, Emblems, & Detailing > Emblems" use the keyword, "LARIAT" and you will find them. Good luck.

Sounds like a good way to make money...buy the whole kit then sell the parts for more than what the kit is worth...like a chop shop.

Chances are, you don't have the striping for two reasons...either:
  • A. The previous owner peeled 'em off cause they didnt' like the looks of it.
  • B. The truck was in a fender bender and the body shop never replaced it after shooting the paint/clearcoat.
