Rail Tie Downs
Question. I believe what I am looking for is only available on two models - STX and FX4 Flare. Does anyone know how I can get my hands on the rail tie downs issued on the above trucks for my FX4 style side? You can see them in every picture used by ford of the FX4. I had these when I owned a SportTrac and were very usefull.
These appear to more on the exteriror side of bed rail and would become valuable because I have a hard cover that covers the rail and holes used for let's say retractable tie downs. Go to the following link for the picture of tie downs. I know these are available as standard options, I have seen them in the lots.

Are these attached to the factory bed rail or are the attached to the body of the truck? Can these be fitted aftermarket? There has to be a part number. Any help or knowledge would be apprecaited.
