Looking to buy clear corners. I have a 97 4X4 and apparently there are two different setups for 97's, depending on when the truck was manufactured. How can I tell exactly when my truck was made. VIN #1FTDF18W6VLA08334.

Go out to your truck pull the hood & check out the light tabs behind the light pull straight up to release the head light if only the head light comes out it after June 97' which is the same all the way till 03'.
But if the corner comes out too, it an early 97' they have the head & corner ***. in a bucket that pulls out together.
I hope this helps you out.
Also the newer style has 1 screw in top to hold the corner in. The old , had 3 screws behind the corner.
