The place I had it done was a place here in San Antonio that does everything from body work to oil changes so they did all the work. They installed it and welded in a peice of sheet metal and covered it with puddy and sanded it smooth. They did that in about 3 days. Then came the paint.

Well I went to about 11 places and I got the best deal at this shop ive been going to for awhile. I had the door handles shaved, bought the hardware to open them by remote, had it installed, had a good deal of body work done and paint and it all had come out to exactly $2k.(alot of saved up paychecks...lol)

The lowest price I could find for the door poppers was about $1,400 (installed) for the longest time then I got the hardware and had it installed and that was $900 in all. These are good quality parts with big powerful solinoids and they had some fabricating to do but they got it done and they work great. Then body work and paint cost $1,100. (I had lots of dents and a scraped up fender from previous owner)

lol, yea...but if they do that at my house or if im near my truck I have a 2 way alarm that will page my remote.

Well 2 nights ago on the next street there was a navigator with T.V screens and other stuff. They threw a brick through his window and cleaned it out. So im on the look out now. (My system kinda sux though but it's nice, no screens though...lol) I also now have my windows tinted.

Hey in fact we are going to move... we have been looking at new homes in nicer areas cause they have been spray painting on cars here alot. Nothing has happened to my truck at my house for about a year. cause a year ago it was broken into in my driveway, but a month ago it was in a parking lot.

Funny thing is I broke my leg the night they broke in my truck in my driveway and I had a $10,000 Motorcross bike in the bed with a ramp and the tailgate was unlocked and lowered. All that was keeping it there were some tie downs and they left it...lol
I guess they knew they wanted the radio and subs. I even had 1k worth of gear inside my truck and they left that too.
Well now my truck is safer and more secure than it used to be.

Hey Green_Fox guy,
What brand head and tail light assemblies did you use? Are you having any odd electrical complications since installing them?
Thanks,
Chiz

The lenses are from APC and no complications have happened and ive had them for over 2 years.

Im still trying to locate the paint # but all i know is it's a PPG brand paint and it's a GM color

As soon as i know the exact paint specs i will let you know. You can go to a paint shop that uses PPG paint and look at their color swatches and you will see my color in them.
