Arrow Xenarc Help Please!!!

I have a set of Sylvania Xenarcs installed, and the light looks strange.
The drivers side projects a central intense beam that looks like the letter D with the rounded side down. This side also has some light scattering around this area that splits the light into the color spectrum. This is faint, however, and didnt show up in the photos.
The Passenger side light has a central intense region that looks more like a slit. No scattering seen with this one. Both create light on dark areas from in front of the bumper to the intense area. They do not create a smooth light.

The lights are nice, but I dont like this different beam look I have on mine.

Anyone else have this, or know whats wrong??

Thanks for your help.

That's exactly what the beam pattern on mine looks like... I thought it was normal. I adjusted mine so that the top part of the D was shining down the road ahead of me. It lights up the road a LONG ways ahead, and I have yet to have someone flash me for being in their eyes.

I never looked at mine up that close. With the beams at some distance, mine look very much even. However, my Xenarc fog lights add quite a lot to the xenarc headlights, so I don't find it to be an issue.

This is completely normal. The tech i spoke to about 2 years ago said it was the way they designed the lense. If you aim them a lil farther out, you dont notice it that much.

Thanks everyone for your help.

I sent the pictures to sylvania and told them the same story. They told me they would send me a replacement driver lamp overnight and, after I installed it, they would issue me a RA and pay for the shipping back to them.

Osram Sylvania = Xenarc HID = GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE

To bad all vendors are not so helpful.
