I've got a 2002 F150 4x4, 5.4L......I want to lift it.....a mechanic friend of mine told me I shouold a body lift and not a suspension lift because of the independant axles.....he's says i'll burn thru tires.......another friend of mine who owns a Nissan dealership says not to woryy, all you do is adjust the alignment.....

WHisch is best for my truck? Body or suspension?

i would say that you can go with either one...depending on how much you want to spend, the suspension is going to be more expensive than the body. also you may want to do a little searching in the Suspension threads...you'll find all the info you could ever need.
