Question Clearance lights

I love how the clearance lights look on the super duties. I wanted to bring the look to my F-150 but I do not know what is involved. If anyone has done this or knows what is involved and/or how extensive this project would be, please let me know. I am also curious if anyone has pictures of an F-150 (97-03) with clearance lights. Lastly, how much clould I expect to spend on this (roughly) assuming I have it intsalled by a proffessional.

Thanks

Jay

P.S.
It is a supercrew 4x4 king ranch with a sunroof

I haven't gotten a definite answer but I have heard that the roof has 2 or more layers of thick sheet metal over the headliner which makes it extremely dificult if not impossible. I also don't think there is enough room (because mine has a sunroof) for the lights to fit. If I hear anything else I will post about it. I am glad to see that someone else has had the same idea.

I would look for some at a truck stop, I know I have seen them at Love's. You would only have to drill and silicon the 2 mounting holes and then drill a small hole for the wires, silicon that too. You will have to remove the headliner to tie all your wires together. You can just find a hot wire and install a remote switch or hook them up to a headlight power lead. Go for it , now you got me thinking of doing it.

Mark and Godspeed to you!

Another option though more costly, would be to add a visor with lights built in or, if you dont like that style of light get a plain one and install the style of lights you do like, less holes in your roof.Just a thought.

Not even the dealer will install them. I traded my 04 F150 for a 05 F250 and the dealer won't touch installing them. Said they are factory installed only. Those whimps!!!
