Put 4x4 Grille/bumper On A 4x2
I know, this may sound like a silly question, but I was wondering if I can put a 4x4 grille/bumper on the front of my 4x2 1998 F-150, I've always wanted to know because i would like the honycomb grille. Thank you, anyone!

Yes, it can be done. Alot of us have done it, myself included, although I kept the stock Lariat grill and skipped the fog lights.
The 97 & 98 grills and bumpers are interchangeable. To use the 4x4 bumper on your 2WD you'll also have to use the 4x4 bumper brackets too becuse they are different. Also, you have the option of painting the top bumper cover the color of your liking.
