looking for "RED" rock/bug gaurd

well i did the search and really no results, either there are none, or i am just to impatient!! been to a couple of web sites that frankly in my opinion, suck! so any help here would be great. i'm looking for a red, preferrably bright red, contoured, wrap around rock deflector. don't want black. i want red. like my ride. solid red, not smoked red. any help like i said would be most enjoyable!! thanks all! willie

Hey, I've got the one off my truck for sale! It's a Bugdeflector II from AutoVentShade, custom matched to Ford E4 (the same color code as your paint).

I took it off because I had a clear bra installed, but it's practically brand new.

I'll sell it for $50 plus shipping. Let me know if you're interested.

Jason

also, i might add that i'm looking for a screw in style. they just seem to hold up better to me. i had other 3M taped products before, vent visors and a bug gaurd, but when that tape starts tp dry out in spots, there is no way of fixxing it unless you pull the whole thing off which i had to do in the past. i tried that link kingfish but i could not get into cabela's. also, the last one i got was from that company and it just seemed flimsy, then i went to the dealer and got one. nice a sturdy, but that was for my jeep grand laredo, and it was a mopar part, does ford have stuff like that? or would that be a dealer specific item? also, skicrave, is that a taped item or did you screw that into the hood? and, nice paint job on that cowling.

Ford only has the smoked. What you could do is find a brand you like that makes a clear shield. Then either paint it yourself or have some one paint it for you. Just remember to paint the back side, not the front.

Hey Luke-

Sorry, I sent you an email a couple days ago, but apparently it didn't get to you. I'm travelling right now, I so can't take any pictures of it in particular, but I'll get some for you this weekend.

It attaches to some holes on the underside of the hood, so it doesn't require any drilling, but it is very secure. It's a clear shield with the back painted so the debris won't damage the finish.

Here are a couple of pictures that I with the shield on the truck:

Let me know if you've got any other questions.

Thanks,

Jason
