painting the interior - your opinion?
painting the interior - your opinion?
ok, so I received my expedition console today
I tore it apart, washed all parts and then realized I will have a fun time remembering which screws go where
I have a plan to send in my dash parts to Phoenix Imaging and have them done in black brushed aluminum. However, I was thinking of how a two-color interior would look. For example:
I would paint the cupholder area in black brushed, and the wood trim piece would be done in regular brushed aluminum. My dilema is in how to carry it over into the rest of the dash pieces. I thought perhaps I would have the air vents done in regular brushed while the rest is all in black brushed.
What do you all think of a two toned interior? would it look good or crappy? here's a photo of the cupholder/wood trim pieces for the example above:
Thanks for your input

I like the looks of a two-tone interior.....as long as it is silver and black, woodgrain and tan, etc. Basically colors that complement each other. If they are colors that will look good with the truck, then go for it!! Make sure you post pics when your done though!
