Window Tinting

I just got all 5 windows on my f150 tinted. And I am pretty happy with it.

Except for the back 3. Now I just got it back like an hour ago and the guy said it still has to dry for a day or two but on the back 3 there isa ring of no tint around the little dots on the outside of the window. From straight on you can see what seems to be a ring of non-tinted window. Does anyone know if this will go away as the window dries or am I stuck with a ring like that?

Mine do not appear this way.

Look at the inside to where they cut the tint. Does the tint extend past the dots to the black material that you can not see thru? Does it appear that the tint is lying flush with the glass at the edges? Or is it cut short of the dots so that there is an actual ring of window that is not tinted?

Sounds like something might be wrong with the install. Did you take it to an established tint shop and get a brand name tint? Most shops have a warranty on the install so if you are not satisfied I would definitely take it back and talk with them.

Good luck!

If your windows how the dot matrix around the edge it will keep a "white look" some shops dont tint over these . Some times it does lay a little better on these ,it doesnt really have anything to do with the quality of tint.
