Chrome Plating......

Has anyone had any parts chrome plated? I have an extra set of F-150 tow hooks and would like to get them plated. Any recommendations?

Just about any chrome shop should be able to help you out with your wish.

I might suggest checking out the yellow pages in your vicinity. If you're unable to find anything there, call around to some of the machine shops or hydraulic shops in the areas as they should have the skinny on where to have things done.

I used to work at a hydraulic shop that had it's own chrome shop as well. They would use the chrome shop to rechrome the rods off of hydraulic cylinders...

It shouldn't be too expensive either.

Hey Guys,
If anyone you have chased chrome work you know what a pain it is dealing with these guys. They all seem to be ole drunks and thier word is meaningless.

Well I have found a great shop. The work is so dark as to have a black tint. Thier work comes out on time and come packaged and protected.

All in all, a first rate place. I have started chroming under the hood and wanted to pass this on to you other guys that are there.

The Billet look is going away and chrome is coming back! God, I love chrome.
