Lowering my 98 Ext Cab...

ok everyone knows those lil clamps that they sell at autozone that clamps down your from springs and drops you like an inch or two... and then they also come with leaf spring clamps to lower the rear...

has anyone done this to their truck?

it's like 9$ for the front
and 9$ for the back.

is this gonna hurt anything?

any repurcussions I should know about?

what is a good amount to lower a truck? for ride and such?

I just wanted to even out my truck, put some bell tech 2 in shackles on the rear, ordered off of truckperformance.com 87.00 had to raise the back end totally off the ground, but it does ride better smoother, and lowered the back as well as a little in front
