Question TYC Gen V CF Tails???

Anyone have the TYC generation 5 carbon fiber tail lights? Wondering how they would look on a black truck.

I have the black gen5 tails on my SCrew:

The price ($96) seemed right. I'm happy with the way they look. Installation was another issue. The lower stock bolts had to be exchanged for shorter ones so as not to puncture the inner housing. On the passenger side, I had to modify the break light opening to get the lamp to fit.

Thanks, White4.2F150, for showing the image. I'll see if I can get the link right this time:
Lamp Hinge Mod

The above link is to my sketch of the changes I had to make to the Gen 5 "hinges". There are two per lamp, located on the edge of the lamp that faces toward the front of the truck. These "hinges" fit into slots in the body and hold the leading edge of the lamp to the body. Unfortunately, on the Gen 5 lamps, they hold the light too far from the body. I had to remove material close to the body of the lamp and deepen the slot in each hinge to minimize this problem. The fit still could be better, but I think I can live with it now. Time will tell if they hold up.
