Why does this truck look different from normal flairsides?

It's NOT a Flareside. It's a styleside.

....

How come I have never seen the "flairs" on any other truck before? Are they aftermarket? What makes a styleside a stylside?

Sorry for the newb questions, but I'm new to f150's

With Ford, a Flareside is a "Stepside"
And a Styleside has a straight body panel on the bed of the truck.
What you are asking, (correct me if I’m wrong) is what are the flares? Those are on most F-150's, they are stock and that is not why they call it a flareside
Hope that this helps

The one on Ebay has the body side steps(below the doors) that incorporate into the wheel flares to give it all a one piece look from front to back. I`ve seen it on a few "Sport" models around here one of the dealers had done. Its a styleside bed on that truck to start with and the step and ground effects with the wheel flares make it look different

A lot has to do with the angle of the picture the tires and the ground effects kit. (That’s how I see it anyway)
2000regcab54's doesn't have the flares. I think that who ever listed that truck in E-Bay listed it wrong. They do have it marked as a Flareside.

Whatever it is it wouldn't be a flairside but a flareside.
