Headlight Question

Hi all, new member here. After reading alot of previous posts on the subject, I think that I want to get the TYC Lightning headlights and clear diamond corners for my black 03 FX4 SC.

I remember reading that the Lightning headlights do not put out alot of light. Do they at least put out as much as the stock lights? I can live with that, but if the output is less, I will probably save up to get the Xenarcs. Waiting for mods is so hard after looking at all the awesome trucks on this site. I am also thinking about an Access tonneau cover. Now, if only the wife would understand...

They put out decent light up close, but after about 20 feet the light sucks. This is my first set of projectors I ever owned though. That is just the way I see it. I hate to say it but the factory head lights put these in the dirt on light output, but as for me I don't drive to much at night. For looks they are really nice..

Thanks for the reply. I do alot of driving at night, so I will most likely get the xenarcs.

By the way, I'm sure you have heard this many times, but you got one SWEET truck.

I have the Ls and the light isnt so much as less, but its just more pin-pointed.

Umm I'd go for the Xenarcs! I'd love to get a pair but for 450 I'll pass for the time being. I think I got a pretty good deal for the L Heads and Corners, I only paid 160.
