QWIK: Your truck looks really good. If you wanna lift the truck you will be slowing the truck down speed wise and you will be losing gas mileage. It takes more power to turn those big tires. If you wanna go with a lifted truck it will look good. As for the front end a bumper cover would make a nice improvement. Let us know what your budget is and we will see how we can help you. Remember sometimes you get better deals if you take your time when doing stuff like this. I got a few things from the classifieds in here.

and i love this truck here

MAn i want a L so bad, but even if it looks like 1 it wont run like one, so if i lift my truck a bit, can it still have power to run with other trucks? not all L fast but as fast as it is now or can it go faster with mods or so on? or being lifted it cant do that?

Cuz if i can go lifted and actually have my truck run @ a good fast acceleration than i rather go LIFT than L

SOMETHING very similar to the truck in this pic. i really like it, maybe with a diff foggers tho.
If you wanna go lifted there are a lot of performance mods. You could go with an intake, exhaust, and chip to see a nice performance gain.

Eventually you could supercharge it if you wanted to shell out a few grand.

I don't know much about lift kits, but there are plenty of people around here that do.

My personal philosophy is: 2WD = Drop it / 4WD = Lift it

Im fine with the mileage for now, until it happens than ill be mad

And yea ill chill for now cuz need to read so much more from u guys, but ima get tires real soon and looking to go big, well hopefully. nething i should look out for?

I HAVE 2WD

but i want a big truck, not overly big but its big enough like i do have to pull myself up not all easy. maybe if i add bigger tires it will give it a good lift from that? is that possible? like since i have 235s on it if i go liike 285 or seomthing?

what can i fit?>

well it will come down to the tires i get soon, im going tire shopping on thursday to look around but it depends on what i go, ill take pics of the tires i endup with and let u guys know so u can help me decide

So do you want the Lightning conversion or the Lift?

What's the budget?

I didn't see this part when I just posted...

The 99+ L's have 18"x9.5" rims. You might wanna check out the different styles. 99-00, 01-02, and 03-04 all had different style of rims. I personally like the 99-00's but the 01-02's aren't bad either. They are both the same size no matter what you like better.

The tires that come on them are Goodyear Eagle F1's and go for about $150-200 a piece. Not sure on the exact tire size, but they are low profile and high speed rated. I have the 99-00's with Eagle F1's on my truck (see sig).

You can probably find a good deal on the tires + rims on ebay. You might even consider some 20's. 20's are less and less expensive since the bigger wheels are getting more and more popular. I have seen a set of 20" rims including tires for under $1000 in classifieds before.

I have no idea on the ones from the purple truck. The rims would be cheaper for it, but the tires would be much more expensive.
