Harley bumper valance

I have a 2003 2wd F150. Is the harley valance a direct bolt on? As in, can I just remove the gray plastic piece under my current bumper and bolt it on? or are there some new brackets to be purchased?

If I do need some brackets, would anyone have the part numbers?

I did a search and read a number of messages on this topic, but could not find the answer to the above.

Thanks.

It just bolts on to your existing bumper, no brackets.

I found one on ebay for $155 plus $40 shipping. It is from a shop with pretty good feedback (700+ positives).

They have two more up there now.

The description on the ad is:

00-03 F 150 HARLEY DAVIDSON FRONT BUMP COVER

Seemed reasonable to me??? Fordpartsnetwork.com had the black one for about $500. My truck is black, so no paint necessary.

I just read your name, and come to think of it, a WHITE HD would look pretty cool IMHO

Hmm before you go out and buy the bumper cover. Contact fordpartsonline.com and make sure you don't need some brackets to put them on. I had to have new brackets for my Ford lightning bumper cover and it was only $80.00 for the brackets. It doesn't hurt to call and make sure.

'tis true.

I subcribe to the Henry Ford theory of vehicle color "Any color as long as it is black".
